Our work with other stakeholders continues to develop a pilot scheme which will see us attracting more school leavers into Healthcare. This pilot will start in 2023.

The NTC-H Team has taken to the road to promote the NTC and NHS Highland opportunities at Nursing and Healthcare Recruitment Fairs. 

A rolling programme of recruitment is in place to attract:

  • Perioperative (Theatre) teams - currently advertising for Band 5 Theatre Practitioner/ Anaesthetic Assistant (ODP) roles.
  • Allied Health Professionals (AHP) to support our Ward

The NHS Scotland Academy is an exciting partnership between NHS Golden Jubilee and NHS Education for Scotland offering accelerated training for a wide range of health and social care roles and professions.

Health Check

The NTC's programme, announced by Scottish Government in 2015, aims to provide the highest standards of care through a network of modern, efficient NTCs each offering their own specialisations. The capacity the NTCs offer will help reduce waiting lists across Scotland.
